Rising Above my Past Injuries

Well, tomorrow I should be well enough to train over at Renaissance Academy of Martial Arts. I cannot tell you how much they have been patient with me. I have through a series of accidents all throughout the year that training has been hard to do.  I have been in two scooter wrecks which I pulled my rotator cuff pretty good and I broke my toe on my left foot. I also dislocated my left ankle which took a good two months before it was ever back to normal. My progression from my 2nd degree green belt to my 1st degree blue has been very slow indeed. That scooter will be the death of me someday! My recent pulled rotator cuff has been really aggravating this past week so I have been babying it in hopes that it will be well enough next week to train once again. I do believe that I have achieved this goal. Just 4 more classes and I will be tested for the belt. I am still unable to do a full push up, but hey, one step ata time. I will get there just as long as I take it slow and easy Someday, I will not have so many injuries because by that time I will have myself my very own car and a different job. Until then, this is the trial that I must face and i must be extra careful so that I may continue to better myself and learn how to be the independent person that god has intended for me to be.
